When
an aerobatic aeroplane bearing your company's name or logo appears
at a large event, it has the audience's undivided attention for
around six or seven minutes with no interruption. Just as important,
there are no other logos jostling for position, as there are during
a motor racing event for example.
In the UK, attendances at flying displays are currently running
second only to those at football matches. The display season is
packed with such events and runs from April to October each year;
with larger events easily attracting in excess of 75,000 spectators.
At smaller events your aircraft could even be the highlight of
the day, attracting considerable media interest. The coverage
varies from the general, which consists of national and local
radio, television and newspapers, to the specific, associated
with you or the event itself. Below are some typical circulation
levels of the UK's leading aviation magazines which take a keen
interest in the display scene and it's participants.
